supporting sustainable communities in Powys

Project Description

The Farm Diversification Scheme is a strategic project under Axis 3 of the Rural Development Plan, to develop the agricultural sector in Powys into a dynamic and competitive sector. The Scheme will provide farming families with the tools to investigate non-agricultural activities, which will develop alternative sources of sustainable income in order to both safeguard their future and contribute to the long term sustainability of their local community.
