Powys Regeneration Partnership was set up in 2000 to oversee the development, management and implementation of the Objective 2 and Objective 3 programmes in Powys.

The Powys Regeneration Partnership is the only partnership covering Powys alone that has an overriding economic and regeneration focus. The Powys Regeneration Partnership is also the lead Partnership for the economic theme of the Powys Community Strategy.

The Powys Regeneration Partnership now has the central role in the management and delivery of Axis 3 & 4 of the Rural Development Plan in the county.
