Opportunties for Farmers in Powys
Fri 19 October 2012
Could you develop activity tourism to boost your farm income? If the answer is yes, why not come along to one of our onsite workshops and find out how others have.
Glasu is running a Farm Diversification Scheme which can provide help, advice and financial support towards viable business ventures into non-agricultural activity and also for novel approaches to diversification including funding for market research, detailed feasibility and pilot studies to investigate new ideas. Grant funding of up to 60%, to a maximum of £10,000 is available, plus funding of up to 75% towards innovative project ideas. Events are taking place in North, Mid and South Powys at venues where the owners have already diversified. Come and listen to their stories of how they have achieved their goals, what it took to get there and the hurdles they have faced. „h Tuesday 15
